Sunday Sesh | Edge of the Woods

Sunday 28th March | 4pm - 6pm

Lesshhhgo! Get this Sunday Sesh in the calendar, it's going to be a doozy.

Through a combination of folk, alt-blues and roots, Edge Of The Woods weave stories about love, loss and life to create soul-stirring music. Formed on the rugged west coast, below Maunga Taranaki, the shifting landscapes are reflected in their music as they blend genres and grooves to deliver touching ballads, swampy blues, untamed folk, and tellurian roots.

Sunday Sesh | Che Rogers + Special Guests

Sunday 11th April | 4pm - 6pm

This is a Sunday Sesh not to be missed, Che Rogers always delivers the funky vibes and he's bring some special guests to make this jam sesh next level.

Ché Rogers - Visual artist turns his hands to sound - producing underground, base driven, live electronic grooves. Ché’s musical roots go back to the 90’s Christchurch where he played bass in indie guitar bands. Inspired by the South Island’s early 90’s underground rave scene he began his exploration/obsession into making machine driven music. This led on to the formation of Playcycle with Peter Heard who have performed summer rave festivals throughout the country.

Tune into Spotify, Apple Music or Youtube to hear “In The Air” a six track ep released by Ché Rogers.

Catch Ché performing his own dance-floor friendly and or lazy Sunday afternoon beats with an assortment of synthesizers and drum machines. With special guests musicians Danny on percussion and Matt Benton (The Black Seeds) on Saxophone.
