In the early 1950s, Taranaki rugby supporters crafted “Ferdinand the Bull” as a counter to their northern rivals “Mooloo” mascot.

Ferdie swiftly became a local icon, embodying Taranaki pride and intimidating visiting teams. Despite evolving over time, Ferdie remains a cherised symbol of Taranaki  Rugby.

This sessionable hazy brew is crafted for enjoying while cheering on Ferdie, the Bulls and Whio at Yarrow Stadium.
